Guide to Kid's Vision

Trends and styles of children’s sunglasses

Generally speaking, kids may not be interested in sunglasses as much as adults. However, children spend much more time than adults outdoors, so that protecting kids’ eyes from UV radiation is very important. Children under 18 are more vulnerable to UV rays. Because long period exposure to UV radiation is closely linked to cataracts and other eye problems, kids had better to wear good quality sunglasses outdoors, the sooner the better.

Aspects of children’s sunglasses

Generally, children are vulnerable to eye injuries compared to adults because they spent more time playing outdoors. Ultraviolet (UV) rays and excessive sunlight bouncing off water and sand can lead to painful sunburn of the eyes in both children and adults. Wearing sunglasses during outdoor sports is essential, especially for children.
